It's just been one month since Emily (and Jessica) has moved into my home from the rescue centre. I've been feeding them (2 terrier cross) dry dog food (Hill's) and they've been OK. I've started using wet dog food to fill KONGs but Emily, being the lazy one, has no interest in KONGs, leaving Jessica to clean them out, but I used wet dog food to tempt both to bath.

These few days I've also started feeding them buns which are meant for human consumption. I've also given Emily big portions and less to Jessica since Emily is really passive and Jessica is real active, Emily also doesn't dare to eat much. Jessica is just as active and healthy as can be. But Emily has lost her interest to eat, all the treats I used to show her she no longer wants to touch. She's just vomitted after I presented her with some biscuits she used to like.

Before coming to my home, the rescue centre has given Emily some medication for stomach problems which they said are cured when I took them back and I'm pretty worried now.

Sounds like emily is stressed. I'd knock off the people food. If she's vomitting try withholding food for about 12-24 hours, then put out the food for her to eat, make sure is drinking water so she doesn't get dehydrated during the fast. How old is she and what kind of medication did she take before?

I think you are overdoing the food. Reward them with playtime instead of so much food, and don't give them people food of any kind. Find out what Emilys stomach trouble was if you can. Make sure it wasn't related to any kind of pancreas or other organ problem. If she doesn't start eating better in 24 hours she should see the vet. She could have problems you are unaware of.

NO people food for your doggies. It's just not good for them.

24-hour fast after vomiting if you think it's food/tummy bug related - otherwise I'd call your vet to see what they say.
