Someone at my husband's work just put a deposit on a puppy at this place (a "teacup (I KNOW, no such thing!) Yorkie). This just doesn't look like a place I would be getting a puppy from, with all their designer dogs (even though I have one, but I adopted mine from a private person, who just didn't want her anymore), to what sounds like so MANY dogs! I am interested in any replies.... I have learned a lot from here and this place just instantly gave me the creeps!

That is definitely a place I would run far, far away from :yikes: Not only do they breed a TON of dogs by themselves, they also appear to act as a broker as well (a middle man between a mill/person eventually buying a puppy).

I came across that site a few weeks ago when I was replying to a thread about the Beverly Hills Chihuahua movie... this "breeder" sells chihuahuas "like the ones in the movie."

Terribly sad how places like this continue to exist and be supported.

all i had to see was Schnoodlepom and i went running for the hills.

they seem to breed an AWFUL LOT of dogs from my brief perusal.. Feelings about intentionally breeding mutts aside, I wouldn't want a puppy from a place where there are so many others at the same time.

I didn't even need to look at the website to know it's a breeder to stay far away from.

"Royal Puppy Palace?" Uhh... yea.

run far far far FAR away... There's a puppy shop not too far from where I live where they sell tons and tons of puppies. That place has an entire wall of little cages that are FILLED with puppies and tons of feces everywhere. I knew exactly what is was without having to go inside, but ended up going inside and got kicked out because I was using that as an opportunity for me to educate the people who were inside checking out the puppies about puppy mills and why they should not purchase a puppy from there.

Any way they can get their deposit back? Or just not take the puppy? Maybe you could print out an article about why puppy mills are so bad.

puppy mill YES, they are also brokering for other back yard breeders and puppymills!

run from that place.

generally anywhere selling teacup anything is a place to run as fast and as far away from as possible.

*Sigh*...Thats what I figured. Well, there is no stopping this family from going there. My husband doesn't want to get involved in his co-workers business. He says it wouldn't do any good anyway. The guy was going tonight to put a deposit on "Princess Carmello".......

I am sure there are some of you that might remember not being so smart about things like the best places to get a dog before you came here. These people apparently have no idea about puppy mills or just don't care. They just want what they want. It's very sad :( .
