I know I haven't posted in a while. Been super busy with dogs and kids and work and family and the like lol

I sit beside a girl at work whose chihuahua keeps having puppies and this girl keeps on accidentally killing them. The poor dog gets pregnant every cycle and then the puppies come and get stepped on or dropped or run over or something.

In her last litter, one puppy got dropped. One got stepped on. One she smothered in a towel while trying to "keep it warm" and only one survived. Well, the poor dog just had another litter and apparently one of the little ones, two days old, "fell out of a kennel" and now something looks like it's wrong with her legs and the puppy now won't eat.

It's HORRIBLE to hear her talk about this. It just literally makes me ill.

Can I report her to some authority?

I'm of no help. I'd look her square in the eyes and tell her she's too ****ing stupid to be trying to play breeder. puppies don't deserve to pay her price for her. Spay your dog and try to be a decent owner.

That is really disturbing. I would be sick to my stomach and fighting back rage.

You can report her for animal cruelty- for the puppy being injured but also if this is in the US (possibly true for other places) states can have laws about registering as a breeder (in NH its something like 5 litters a year and you have to pass an inspection).

That is really messed up.

Have you tried talking to her about it? I know it would be kinda hard, but if you tried to explain to her gently and lovingly (that's the hard part rofl) that she's really not fit to breed dogs (but don't use those words!), she might change her behavior? Don't know how stubborn she is...
