Okay, so I have been looking at canned food recently and was looking into the Evanger's line. They have 100% meat canned food like duck, chicken, beef etc. The only ingredients are the meat source and water.
My question is, is there a difference between their canned chicken and the canned chicken for people that I can buy at the grocery store? They are both just chicken and water and I think the grocery store canned chicken has a small amount of salt/seasoning and broth.
Also, I was under the impression that it is not good to give cooked meat without a calcium/phosphorus supplement? Is it acceptable to add a small amout of just canned meat with kibble? These cans are different than for example EVO's 95% variety's because these are just meat and don't have any added vitamins or minerals.
