The breeder would have to revoke the Limited Registration status if you were going to show him, because AKC won't allow one with Limited Registration to be shown in conformation.

As I said before, I think this woman is either delusional or wants the best of both worlds........and you can't have it both ways, but when I saw that his registration was limited, I thought to myself, what the heck??????

I have to agree with Red and Dekka on this. I did find your statment that by showing my dog I am feeding my ego. If you don't find showing your thing thats fine. But please don't try and belittle others who do so and like it. You will find rotten apples ANYWHERE it doesn't mean all the apples are rotten.

I love Sawyer's whiskers. ;)

Showing isn't really my thing either, but I would never denounce those who do enjoy it. That's just poor manners.

As far as your tiff with the breeder, that's between you and her. I'm not all that inclined to take your side as gospel either, given how quickly you were ready to give your pup back over one issue. I actually feel kind of bad for the dog at this point...and to say that you would rather support a puppymill because you aren't BFF's with this ONE breeder??? :madgo:

Val_the Aussie

Hello,
I'm the owner of the Daddy to Val. I read your email to the owner of the Mom. I'm sorry you are having issues with his teething on your hand/arm. They DO have needle sharp teeth and can inflict damage to more sensitive skin.
My bitch, Winnie, just had a litter of 10 babies yesterday. Winnie is the Grandmother to Val.
Anyway, she had 6 Black Tri females. I'm willing to offer you one of these Females in an even exchange for Val if you feel he's too much for you to handle.
Just say the word, and we could meet and exchange the two. Of couse, the babies won't be ready to leave Mom for awhile yet but, I would be willing to come and get him with a signed contract stating these conditions.
When the female puppies are of age, you would get a female puppy suitable to your lifestyle and family dynamics, in direct exchange for Val. You would have to sign him over to me and I would sign the little girls papers over to you.
Please let me know what you decide. I want all my babies, whether directly from a litter I've produced or one produced from one of my stud dogs to have a happy, loving, forever home.
My email address is [email protected].
I await you kind reply.

That is kind of strange. I wonder if the poster really is the owner of the dad....

I AM. If you doubt my word for it go to www.hrdndog.com and type in Seberaka. You'll find Chyan at the bottom of the page. That's Val's Dad. I own his Mom, Dad, GrandMother, Grandfather, Great Grandmother and Great Grandfather.
Any other questions?
The reason I'm posting it here is since the owner of Val decided to make this a public issue, I wanted to make this offer publicly. As I said in my original post, not only do I want the pups produced by my animals to be happy, but the new owners as well. Sometimes the fit isn't there. It happens.
Hence my offer. I want Val's owner to be happy with one of our puppies.

why are you doing this on a public forum? Why not privately? And why offer her a new pup when you don't know what is going on?

I too am a breeder.

One I wouldn't be offering this on a public forum. And two I would want to screen the home just in case there was more going on that a rambunctious puppy. Who is to say that Val is not just a typical puppy.

Why not try to help Val and his owner get along? The OP has mentioned how much they love Val.. do you think its going to look good offer a trade? Its not hard to teach a pup bite inhibition. Do you want to place a puppy with someone who calls breeders 'ilk' and publicly denounces the breeders accomplishments.

*just to note the OP could just have been venting.. but unless you talk in person you aren't likely going to know.

I would love to talk with them. They can contact me via my email address. I'm more then willing to do whatever it takes to make all, Family and pup, have a wonderful life together or, if that doesn't work, a wonderful life for another dog with a different temperament more suitable for the family.

it just seems very very odd. I guess it would also depend on the contract that the OP signed with the breeder.... Shouldn't Val go back to his breeder?

Being the stud dog owner, I am responsible, along with the owner of the brood bitch, for the welfare of animals produced from this pair. It takes two to tango.
