Hi, all. I'm wondering if I should be really worried or or not. Anya didn't do anything but pee yesterday (unless there's something hiding under the furniture) and I tried to take her for a long walk today to see if that helped. I guess it did, although her stool was a little looser than usual. While I was picking it up, she seemed to eat something from the grass. We started back home, and after about a minute she stopped and vomited a bright yellow slightly foamy mix. I didn't see anything in it. She seems to be bit lethargic now, but she started eating and drank when we got back. I just wondered if I should just keep a close eye on her or call the vet. Is there anything I should look out for? Thanks.

My best guess is that she has roundworm. How old is your dog? If its a puppy its not uncommon for them to get worms.

Riots had worms twice before.. once when i FIRST got him and then another time when Jada ate half of his wormer medicine... he didn't get the full does, so wasn't fully covered I guess..

Its very easy to treat, just make sure you get a sample of your dogs poop and bring it in to the vets for an analysis.

Better catch them early on!!

Riots symptoms where; loose stool, seemed lethargic, throwing up.

He still ate and drank though.

It could also be just something your pup ate too, have you recently switched foods at all?

We went to the vet when I brought her home from the shelter in Oct. She had worms and another parasite. I can't remember what they were called. Two precriptions and she was fine. I checked her stool yesterday. I didn't see anything. She's still on the same food she's been eating for months. The only thing is that it got kind of warm, just in the 70's yesterday and she moved from napping in her chair to being on her floor pillow by the outside wall which was much cooler. She hasn't slept there since the fall.
