There is still a raging debate over what color Gambit is. Someone suggested Sable Merle, and, while he looks like some pictures of it, he does not look like others.
These pictuers (yes, I know there are a lot of them) are a good representation of his actualy coloring. The bottom three were taking at his shelter, the others once he got home.
Since I do not understand the genetics of color very well, I will state for the record that one sibling was blue merle, one looked exactly like him, one was black and white and one was tan. Mom was black with tan points.

Gambit has now been home six weeks (12/31!), and it seems like he has always, always been here. If I could work on his people issues, he shows promise of being the agility dog I have been craving.
