Is anyone else planning on getting a puppy in the 2012?

I might be getting a GSD pup. *Might* being the key word there. Several things have to come together before I can say for sure.

Unless I win the lottery or something, then no. As long as I'm living here, no more addition of puppies :(

I want one soooo badly though.

Australian Shepherd puppy, either January or February.

I have a deposit down on a litter. The bitch has an ultrasound on Friday, then we get to wait and see how many males are in there. I was the second deposit on a male pup.

No puppies for me for a very long time. I actually "have" a Labrador Retriever puppy that my Aunt saved for me from her last litter and is raising for now. He's absolutely PERFECT, but I don't have the lifestyle for a puppy and probably not for a long time. I'm not sure if she'll end up keeping him, I'll have him someday or a good performance home will want him.

I'm hoping in 2012 I'll convince my workplace, where I also live, to let Jack live with me.

I notice you have not answered for yourself though...does this mean no Koolie girl in 2013? Inquiring minds, etc. etc...
Oh god I would love one in 2012 but I can't say for sure. I would like to say most definitely before the end of 2013 but I honestly have no good time frame.

The hope was a puppy for late 2012...but it is looking it may not happen until late 2013 at the earliest.

Me = :(

I just keep telling myself, I've already waited on pins and needles for two years, what's two more? (Right? Right? I don't believe it either...) Considering the reason the puppy will have to wait is because of good-things-happening is only a small consolation.

Probably 2013 for my English Shepherd puppy. Would love to do it 2012 but Quinn keeps me pretty busy and I'd really prefer a spring/summer puppy and I won't be ready this spring/summer coming up.

My mom on the other hand ... we'll see. She's considering a young male English Shepherd that she's really admired for awhile and is now looking for a new home. She's also been bitten by the Koolie bug.

No, not me. Although I was offered an 8 month old coy who looked exactly like a tan Gambit. He was gorgous, and in a home that wasn't prepared for the realities of owning and raising a hybrid animal. But I have to decline, because of Gambit's ongoing issues.

If I win the lottery and finally tell my boss where to shove it (you guys have no idea what a fantasy this is for me :p ), maybe in 2013. But probably not for a long time otherwise.
