For the second time today I found a little white dog running around near my apartment. Last time the owner came walking through my backyard about 10 minutes later and collected the dog. This time my husband and I took him to the apartment complex office. They said they knew who he belonged to, since other people had brought him to the office before and would call them. This is making me so mad. The dog has no tags and I'm scared he will get hit by a car. If I find him again I'm calling animal control to see what can be done. I don't want him to go to the pound and would be fine with keeping him myself as Maya just loves him. Too bad I don't have the right to just take this dog from his irresponsible owners. Maybe animal control can at least fine them as there is a leash law in our county. Maybe being out some money will make them stop as the dog's safety obviously isn't motivation to keep him on leash.
