DALLAS! Yes I got my Golden puppy today, this is why I haven't been on at all till now today. He was the ONLY male out of the 10 puppies Molly had, Molly is the momma Golden. Molly is a lighter Golden and Scout (the daddy Golden) is a darker Golden but to dark, maybe a shade up from the original color.
But yes Dallas is 6 weeks old, he will most likely be the original color or a darker Golden like is daddy. I am so so so happy. I posted what the girls house and land looked like in my "Good and Bad News" thread in the Fire Hydrant.

Dallas's registered name for the AKC is Circle W Dallas...Circle W is the name of my dad and I's farm..which we be soon. And Dallas is his name of course! I will post pics later and it might be in this post or another one in General Chat. Thanks everyone for being so kind and helpful, and I still will be on Chaz but ya know I have a puppy to train and all that good stuff. Thanks everyone for the help and pics will be on here ASAP!

Wonderful! I think golden retriever puppies are the most adorable puppies there are. As for coloring, take a look at your pup's ears. The breeder we got my golden from said that the dog's overall adult coloring will be about the same as its ear color as a pup. It was true for my dog, maybe it'll be true for yours.

6 weeks old is too young to sell a pup... Oh well you can't say we didn't warn you. I hope you won't have problems with him as he grows up.

Just wondering, how old are puppies supposed to be sold? Just a bit curious about that.

8 weeks is the minimum. They learn important things from their mom and littermates between 6 and 8 weeks, mostly bite inhibition. I'm no expert though so I don't really know more details.

LOl Thanks everyone..I have something to say to Fran...

FRAN it seems to me you don't like the fact I got a puppy and you make it seem I can't take care of one. I'm not trying to judge but thats what it seems to me. I know you might know more about dogs than me, but still it seems you are being rude and I don't like it. I've already had someone go donw my throat about getting a Purebred Golden and I don't need you to either. Sorry if this sounds mean..but its my opinion.

Thanks everyone for being so nice and I'm posting pics in the General Chat area after this.

Why do we even bother????? And why do people cling so tenaciously to ignorance, and fight against learning anything?????? I am totally disgusted. Phooey on the whole thing.

I have a purebred golden, I would never get one anyone's throat for getting one, lol. It's just getting one from a backyard breeder when you have been warned that it's not a good idea that exasperates me.

Nothing against the pup, I'm sure he's adorable, I'm just not sure you won't have health problems with him later is all - but that doesn't mean he won't be a great dog. What bothers me is that you deliberately gave money to someone who doesn't care about the breed and just cares about making money, and is clueless about what responsible breeding is.

I'm happy you didn't want to go down my throat LOL
Yes your Golden is very pretty and I dind't just give the ppl the money. My dad and grandma (which knows TONS about dogs) helped me in choosing the puppy.
I jope I don't have health problems w/ him either.
These gilr shave been breeding Goldens for about 4 years now and have had very success breeding. Their parents know lots about Goldens and they are veyr well kept on Goldens.

Thanks you and I'm sory what I have caused.

Now I'm gonna go post pics and please don't be mean about them. Thanks
