Hello all!
I introduced myself a while back. At the time I was in the awkward inbetween wanting a dog and figuring how to go about it stage. After searching and networking and being picky, I will be getting a black/tan Pomeranian. So standby for pics very soon!
I'll have this little Pomeranian. I can't attest to it's temperament or how spoiled it will definitely be since I don't have it just yet. But generally speaking: I will have this little dog. I will probably get a house towards the end of this year with my brother. When that happens, it probably won't be long before I get the Rottweiler I've wanted my whole life, and I know he wants a German Shepherd.
Question 1: Is it the worst idea ever to have a little dog first before having 1 (or 2) bigger ones? And how did you/would you introduce yours?
Question 2: The Pomeranian is a male. Is it more important that 2 bigger dogs are the same gender? Or that they aren't the same gender as the little one? I know Rottweilers do the whole same sex aggression thing.
Owners with 3 dogs (or more) is this just the most ridiculous idea ever?
