Of my mother's family. Meet Mally!

She was adopted today at our local shelter. She's VERY young, much too young for her to be away from her momma, but my momma said her momma wasn't in the cage with her. She is also pretty skinny.

She is supposed to be a Cattle Dog/ Chow mix... although she looks like a BC mix to me... what ya'll think?

I do see some chow in her stance...we'll see how she turns out in a few weeks or so. Very cute but yes, VERY young. Socialization is going to be KEY here!

I think I might see Chow because of the hair, but once she gets a little older, like Zoom said when she gets a little older you'll be able to tell more

Oh I know it. I wonder why they took her so early from her momma? She'll be getting plenty of socialization with my mom living 2 houses up from the park, and my little sister and Rob's mom (who all have dogs) living near the park as well (all within spitting distance).

At this point, I'd say BC mix, but BCs variey alot in appearance.

Hard to tell at this age. With that coat, BC/Chow mix is a possibility.
