Baby Theresa Rose (Rosie) joined our family on 10/16/12 @ 2:36 a.m., 7 lbs 9oz, 19 in
. Since Katie was born via C-section, my doctor automatically assumed Rosie will, too & would like to schedule a C-section a week before the due date.. but I declined. I didn't mind having another C-section, but I wanted to allow Rosie to come when God & she wanted her to, not when my doctor thinks she should! It turned out that she wanted to be born on Tuesday, the 16th (Just like her big sister who was also born on Tuesday the 16th!) & that she didn't want Mommy to have another C-section so she came out naturally. The pain was short but very intense... I started having constractions at 1:15 a.m., immediately at 3-5 minutes interval! We got to the hospital at ~1:45 a.m., my water broke just as I exited the car, and by the time they rushed me into the delivery room, I was fully dilated & ready to go. There was no time for any pain medications!! Rosie was safely in my arm about 30 mintues later!
