I'm not talking about the names for colors in breed standards, more like the one's you see owners, rescues and shelters using.

At my shelter we have a white JRT X with "butterscotch" markings and a "cinnamon" mystery mutt.

Fun fact: When Kobe was at the shelter, he was identified as a "Crystalline Colored Malamute/Husky mix."

    I was like what.

Lol. Cream. White maybe. Crystalline is a bit of a stretch. Does he sparkle in the sun?

Well, he is somewhat angelic. It's not impossible that what they might have seen was a heavenly glow.

Oh I've seen those too...I've also seen it called Australian Red and honey-gold.

To be fair, in the states at least, bb (brown/liver) BCs are called red so I think they are trying to draw the distinction between bb and ee...

I once had someone tell me their dog was "pretzel" colored. I wrote "brown", for what it's worth ;)

    Oh lordy!

The creams do seem pinkish sometimes. Dart is a cream mackerel, and he's got silver tipping... really pretty color!
