Did anyone see that on the National Geographic channel last night? It was wonderfully interesting...about all kinds of different twins, fabulous pictures right inside of what the babies do, what they hear, how they develop. There were fraternal twins, identical twins, triplets, quads, conjoined... and all the different possibilities and combinations of ways that these things occur.

Tonight will be on animals...part of the series. They showed a preview of a baby elephant, dolphin, puppies. Check for it if you have that channel. Wonderful!

Saw a bit of this one last night. What little bit I did see was very interesting. I saw the animal one when it was on a few weeks ago, and again, that was very interesting too.

I loved that channel, but dont' get me going on it now. Our cable company just switched out the NGC for Lifetime. I can't even stand to hear the shows and movies they usually put on there let alone watch it, coupled with the fact they took out one of my all time fav's...I"m pretty ticked. Of course I got to see the ad's for that show and get really excited to see it and then two weeks ago the cable company drops it and picks up lifetime?? WTF

I watched to late version and fell in and out of sleep................I really thought it was funny seeing the "evil" twin smacking and kicking the "good" twin! Cracked me up. ehh uhm (clearing throat) Not that I would ever condone such actions!

From what I heard ...the personalities in the womb continued after their birth .Some babies were even holding hands....and grabbing others umbilical cords .

Yes, they thought that they saw one twin being more aggressive and one passive and that one would turn and rest his head on the placenta. And when they were born and in the same crib, the same one would tend to move around more, smack the other and the other would turn his head and lay it on it's side on the pillow. Of course, to me it looked like they weren't intentionally doing any kicking, as in...the one kicking the other in the head, but was just trying to stretch and move as the space became so tight and just happened to kick the other one. But that one might have had a more vigorous personality and the other more tolerant of cramped spaces. LOL. I don't know how much control they have over their small muscles as far as purposely aiming for the head of the other one.

But it was all very interesting. And too, how they put a microphone in there and you can hear all the sounds on the outside, muffled or like it sounds through water. But goes to show....play good classical music and train your babies to have a good headstart in musical education. LOL.

They were so adorable and amazing when they opened their eyes and the light they had in there shown and they were quite responsive. Just wonderful photography.

I actually didn't get to see the whole thing because I also wanted to watch 24. Then noticed that In the Womb had been on two hours earlier also. LOL. Oh well...they'll probably show it again.
