I cant even talk right now.

I came home today. Half my stuff is missing. Someone broke in.

They took Ruckus. He's gone.

The police are on the lookout, I've called every vet and shelter around here and told them to keep an eye out for him.

He just got out of surgery for a tumour.

I'm surprised they didn't take my computer.

The neighbours upstairs they heard a lot of commontion and ruckus growling and barking and snarrling, but thought I was home roughhousing with him (yes, because thats what my dog sounds like when I play with him)

I don't want my stuff back.
I want my Ruckus back.

I'm frantic. My friends are going to be here any minute, and we're going to search the city together. We'll walk up and down the streets all night and day until we find my baby.

I'm going to sign off now... I'm not coming back on until I know my Ruckus is safe.

Call every shelter and vet and put up posters every where. There is a good pamphlet somewhere online about what to do when your pet is stolen. I will see if I can find it.

One thing that was suggested was to put "needs medication" on the posters to make the dog less appealing to the thief.

To add to Dekka's post, put an add in the your local (and maybe up to a hundred mile radius) newspaper for a lost dog and say there is a reward if found.

I am so SO sorry ((((hugs))). The exact same thing happened to my brother alittle over a year ago. His home was broken into and along with other things his brand new Puli puppy Marley was stolen. He called every shelter, pet store, and vet in the state no one ever came in contact with little Marley. I hope you have better luck with Ruckus .

How terrible - I hope they simply let him outside, and you will find him safe and sound.

Another thing you could try is calling radio stations and asking the DJs to tell people to keep an eye out for the dog. We have a couple local stations that would announce several times during peak driving hours when my friend's dog was missing.
