I'm new here

[Westie Lover]

Hi everyone.

I have just registered today.

I have a little female westie puppy. She's 14 weeks and a right smashing little thing. Her name is Rosie-Doodles. Some name for her eh?! I am not a lover of the name but the child named her and come hell or high water he wasn't allowing her to be called anything else.

When i got her she settled right in and i adore the bones off her. We have greyhounds and sheps outside and she goes out and faces right up to them. I don't think she realises her size. She frightens the life out of me, but despite her size she seems to send the greyhounds running. I was thinking of getting another one to keep her company but she is never ever left on her own. There is always someone in the house so maybe she is alright on her own without another little dog for the time being

I have no pictures uploaded. I may do that tonight.

Hey Westie Lover, i recognise your pups name from the Westie forum where I have said hello to you. You have picked an amazing dog to own you cos believe you me you dont own them they own you. My Archie is just past a year and I cant begin to tell you the joy he has brought to my life. I have always grown up with large dogs but my circumstances now I had to have a smaller dog. After reading up about Westies I was attraced to the fact that although they are small they dont think they are. They are busy busy dogs and need a lot of walking just like any larger breed. Their personality is amazing and I have the best of fun with Archie, I only get cuddles when he wants them, so independant. As a dog lover I would fall in love with any dog not matter size, breed or anything, but I must admit I am forever glad I picked a Westie. I bet rosie doodles still has her puppy breath, oh how I love that, nothing comes close. I wish you all the best with Rosie, hope to speak to you soon on the Westie forum.
