Her
e's an update:
We can't get help with the electric bill until they send a disconnect notice AND Tony falls under their guidelines for assistance. Since they want his payroll stubs for July, he probably won't qualify.
I have the salvation army sending information on where we can go for help. We have gotten a little further with getting his 401 K money due to their "hardship withdrawal" clause. We've got our portion of the paperwork filled out and now have to get ahold of the plan administrator at the company to get their part filled out and sent to the main office in NY. The only bad thing is that we had to get a "fake" eviction notice from our land lady. It was the only way they'd let him get the money out early with 20% going to taxes and IRS. Hopefully he'll get the money so we can pay electric, truck insurance and truck payment as well as catch up on the furniture payment.
Workman's Comp has been filed (yay!) but it could take a few weeks before he gets back pay and weekly benefits.
I hope it doesn't take more than a week or two.
Tony still hurts and basically tries to relax as much as possible (reclining/laying down). The doctor was supposed to fax over a prescription for more therapy this week (which I think is a joke) but she hasn't done it yet. I called Pro Rehab to see if they had received it and they said nope, they'd call us when they get it. Tony called the doc at 10am and it's 4:30...apparently us little people that don't come to her office don't count for crap in her book.
So we get to call the doc
again tomorrow morning and have
another day of therapy missed because of her slowness.
That's pretty much it. Something else happened but it deserves it's own thread IMO
