Oh, when I moved out of my parents' house, I didn't take all of the animals.

Chloe is "my dog" in the sense that I adopted her for myself. She wasn't a family dog, she was my dog. However, she also has varying degrees of DA, HA, and anxiety, so when I moved out it was decided that she stay with my parents (who live on 10 acres in the country and don't have frequent visitors). Even now she is kind of no one's dog, unfortunately. She just sort of exists. I'm the one that kept up with her grooming and vet care, but now that I've moved, I'm not really sure how any of that is going to get done since she won't let anyone else handle her without biting. My sister is the one that feeds her and pays attention to her (and I think she's said when she moves out she would like to take her), and my mom is the one that buys the dog food.

Apollo is my cat, but Michael is allergic and Apollo loves to be outdoors in the summer months, so he also stayed with my parents. They also kept all of the outdoor cats.

I ended up rehoming Joey, "my" Cockatiel when I moved out. That bird hated my guts, but loved my Mom. She didn't want to do the upkeep on him and I didn't want to take him with me due to the fact that he hated my guts, so the decision was made to find him another home.

I took Dameon with me, and my hamster.
