Wow, thanks for sharing!

I was wondering about the pocket bears myself. They didn't too much resemble bears to me!

I once had a golden retriever and shar pei mix (we think), that looked like a lion! In fact , when I watched a movie (I can't remember the name) about the lions eating the people, I didn't want them killed b/c they looked too much like my baby!!!

That is sooo sad, though! There are already too many animals in the world. IMO.

Those bear things are strange.

I'd almost like to see tiny beagles, there is a historical basis, and if they kept their noses, they'd be one heck of a strange tracking dog ;) Wasn't there a number of health problems though, in the originals?

LMFAO!!!!! Omg I can just imagine telling people I have my 45lb black Pocket Bear. Hehehehe.

He fits in a really big pocket, of course. Most people call pockets this size "suitcases."

Did anybody check out the FAQ section? One of the threads is called something like, "What are the startup costs to become a pocket beagle breeder?"

The website owner says that, after the purchase of the dogs, the cost is "minimal." All you have to do is buy the necessary cages, crates, playpens, etc.

Oh SNAP! I've figured out why she thinks your average beagles are 50lbs. That's what the little diagram on my crate box says! (That and Doxies are 25lbs, beagles 50, and Rottweilers 90)

they are selling them like they are decorations or something, it's sick. Reminds me of the Bonsai Kitten era- anyone remember those? People can be so cruel.

so sick!!! sounds like these would be the type to rehome dogs by dumping them.

Here in Missouri I am surrounded my puppymills. in the papers there are always "great deals" heck you can even go to walmart and find free puppies almost everyday.
SICK SICK SICK.

Nutmeg the beagle that was dumped her shortly after thanksgiving weighs 30# ... o my I may have some exotic dog! and when she whelps.. (if she is pregnant(when I found her she was at the end of a heat) .. I to can sell polar bears:D NOT!
