just something I thought of when writting in another thread, if you was given the power by god or wherever and could change the world what would you personally do about it? What would you fix and change? Would it be the good for everyone and animals? Who would you not like to exist no more? Rapest? Etc

I would really love to hear what your feelings, options, views, etc will be.
Wonder if this would be a nice heated talk.

Theres a lot that needs to be changed about this world but I'm not sure it would ever happen whilst humans are still living here. I'm not about to say kill all the humans because there are nice people out there but its us that cause the problems.

For a start the world would be a much nicer place if EVERYONE cared about each other, as well as the animals and plants.

If I had the power to change something, I wouldn't change anything. There are bad things in the world and the human race does appear to be doomed, but those things are necessary as well as the good things. Good can't exist without evil. You need rain to appreciate the sun.

Not only that, the struggles and evils in the world make people stronger. Good always comes from the bad, and vice versa. I don't think you should hope for the world to be good, but accept that the dark is necessary.

Am I making this too complicated? Because I'm kind of confusing myself.

Oh, I'd zap everyone awake with Awareness. Of their own responsibility for their own actions and reactions; of their impact on everything and everyone around them. That should allow most of the problems to be solved or removed, since apathy and self-centeredness are really, I think, the cause of most of the ills of the world. There is no tyrant so powerful that he (or she) cannot be toppled; no disaster so great that there cannot be succor; no ignorance so vast that it cannot be enlightened . . . if, IF we were just aware and willing.

I would make courses in critical thinking mandatory from about grade 4 till end of highschool. I would make it so that students had to travel to other parts of the world for exchange to see how other people in the world live. I think those 2 changes would improve the world immensly

If I could change the world their would be nobody that "wasn't" deserving of it living off my taxes. To many people that are on welfare could actually work and not just take the easy way out by living off of everyone else. Im sick of driving by projects seeing Cadiallac escalades and suped up BMW's parked in front of low-income housing while I drive a Hyundai  I would make tougher laws and fines for animal abusers. Tougher laws for pedophiles (sp?) I wouldn't let them back out into society only to do it again because that is what usually happens. I also would like to see poverty no longer exisit here in the U.S. as well as other parts of the world but I'm sure that will never happen or at least I won't live to see it.

I would remove technology that has been developed since 1000 AD. The people and enviroment problems would fix themselves.

start with having everyone watch Earthlings on full movies google video. Then find a way to change everything about how we treat other species. I just watched it, and started to change it, then thought no, i ought to watch it, i am as guilty as everyone else. I don't know how we could manage to support ourselves differently, but i would want that answer before anything else. WE are the cruelest species and it makes me wish i had never been born.

The world needs balance. Changing one thing could cause a chain reaction and get rid or destroy something we hold dear. I'd rather not screw around with things on such a large scale.

If I had the power of controlling everything id keep everything as it is, why? because the only way people are gonna learn is if they screw up big time and feel the consequences, and to be honest one of these days its gonna smack the human race right in the @$$, so I say corrupt on!

I wouldn't change much, maybe make some people aware of that the huge cars they drive aren't good for anyone, or possibly have a cure for cancer. But other than that I wouldn't change a thing.

I would set global warming back, because WE the people of this earth made global warming and 'the end of this world' seem realistic. We need to develope something ourselves that will set the earth back to how its supposed to be, otherwise we won't learn from our mistakes.
I wouldn't make everyone care about everyone, because you can't like everyone, or care for everyone equally because that would make us all boring. There are just certian things that make us special and who we are, and we all have our quirks. So I wouldn't make everyone like eachother.

I wouldn't change anything. Everything happens the way its suppose to happen, and in the end, eventually, it will all work out. One thing I might want to change to work out for me, might not work out for someone out, thus I've just created a problem for someone else. The only way to live in a problem free world, would for all of us to live in seperate realities, because like I siad, what works for one, won't work for another. So we just all have to adapt and try to live in this one world.

I'd put the whole world on a five second time delay, like they do for the live broadcasts on TV. No, it wouldn't stop some of the real huge errors, but it would be nice for those, "Oh, crap, I shouldn't have said/done that!" moments.

I would give everyone a map.

Really I would make people care. There are to many people who don't care about global warming or science or animals or whatever. In my book if everyone cared about 100 years from now the world would be a beter place. Or I could just get rid of raptors.

That's what I was about to say. Anything you change about the whole world will have mixed consequences. If we choose world peace, we will learn not to appreciate peace soon after. We may never get any decisions made because there aren't many things that has such a final answer as a war. The world might overpopulate. Etc, etc, etc...

Plus, we need the rain to appreciate the sun, right? (Or the other way around for me...)
