I know I haven't posted much since I joined. Sorry about that. I've mostly been lurking.

I was looking through our local classifieds paper and looked at the pet section.
I saw someone had a ad for chocolate lab with puppies for free.
I called just to get some more info...I know dumb me. Now I wish I hadn't.

The dog has 2 week old puppies and she thinks they are mixed with boxer.
The poor dog had 11 puppies but only 9 are still alive.

I so wish I could give them a foster home until the pups are old enough to find new homes.

I guess the dumb *** owner decided she didn't want to deal with the dogs and the pups. She just wants someone else to deal with them.

Ugh...if I had more room I would so help out this poor mother dog and her pups.

It doesn't help. I would really love to have a chocolate lab.

I just hope that these dogs and pups end up in a real good home soon.

now that is just sad and despicable--getting rid of them all right now? So very sad.

Yes, she was giving away the mother with her puppies right now.

The more I think about it the more mad I get. All she could say well maybe some will want to take them all or they will be hunting dogs.
