Oh boy! I like to take them occasionally to get them out socializing (I work in a kennel). Well, I guess its been too long between visits - they were BAD boys. Well very poorly behaved boys anyway. When I first got there, I had to get out to open the gait. Murray wanted to jump out of the car, so I'm trying to hold him back and get out - he rolled down my window! (the controls are in between the driver's and passenger seat). So, ok I finally get out and open the gait, pull the car in and proceed to get them out. They were SO excited, they love coming here with me. I open the door and Murray jumps out and wants to run, I'm holding his leash and poor Bear jumps out and his leash gets caught on the seat belt holder and he is about to hang himself! I'm trying to "save" him as Murray is yanking me the other way in his desire to run into the kennel. I finally get Bear safely out and they both try to run in the opposite direction, as their leashes wrap around my legs and nearly trip me. As they are doing this, I'm clutching my keys, with my remote control, and suddenly the back of my jeep pops open. Now, they're trying to jump back into the jeep! There was no one else there, but I tell you I was very embarrassed. I know I looked like a big fool.
Once we were inside, they calmed down and had fun greeting all the other dogs. I was wise enough to take them out one at a time when it was time to leave. I guess we need to work on not being maniacs!?

Ohhh what bad boys they were indeed. Sounds like they really enjoy going with you and that is great that you can take them.

That's a great story that I can surely relate to!! They wear you out so much by the time you get to the destination to have "fun". They sound like they were gooby-doo's while you were working, though?

When my husband got sick and I took over our family clothing store for a year, Bubba went to work with me everyday....we always hit McDonalds first and when I got my Mcmuffin they gave him animal cookies. He was a quiet dog and either hung out at the register or outside the entrance if I propted open the dog .Never on leash... a velcro heart dog .

Grammy, when we had a printing business, our big yellow tomcat, Gulliver, came to work with us every day. He had quite a following among our customers! Now that Shiva's been doing our commercials we have people who come in and ask if she's here, lol!

That's pretty funny. I laughed at the part where the jeep trunk opened and suddenly they wanted to get back into the jeep.
