I recently adopted what I was told was an 8 Month Black Lab. I think its a mix between black lab and German Shorthaired Pointer. The dog needs constant attention. If its not doing something it will bark/chew until it finds something to keep it busy. She must go through about 15 bones a week. I have a trainer/behavior specialist working with her. I find that when alone and hungry she follows commands to a T but when outside or something is distracting her then she acts like I am not even there.
I was just wondering if she will grow out of this type of behavior if I continue to train or is this something that will be with her forever?
