So Summer usually spends every night sleeping curled up on my bed. She has a dog bed but she never used it. The other dogs loved it though and basically tore it up over the year. So since we're moving I decided to find her a new bed. I went to the pet store and was looking around and found a bed I liked. Then I read the tag and saw it was actually a cat bed. I looked at all the dog beds but really, the cat beds are a LOT cuter and softer so I picked up the cat bed and took it home.
Last night we got to my old apartment and I move in to the new one tomorrow. I unboxed her stuff and just kind of threw her bed on the floor. We went to bed and soon enough she'd left me and the big bed for her little cat bed I bought. That's the first time in probably a year she hasn't slept on the bed with me! She's spent all morning sprawled out in her new bed just being lazy. I think I created a monster!
