It'd actually take me 30 mins tops.

But I pick up 3 things.... check emails for 2 hours... dust one bit... listen to new music for 2 hours... open a drawer... make a sandwich...

lol. That sounds like me trying to do homework. I'm the worst at focusing on anything when I'm at home.

We relate. I set aside Saturday afternoon to clean my apartment. Fell asleep on the couch at 3pm, woke up at 6pm to move to a different couch, woke up again at 9pm to go to my room and fell asleep until 9am the next morning. Saturday's accomplishments: I unloaded the dishwasher.

Nope, right there with you. Because I'll start to clean, then the cleaning leads to organizing and before you know, I've rearranged everything and given the bookcases a new coat of paint and have been on the internet looking for coordinating bedspreads.

lol im the same way...ive been talking about how im going to clean the apartment for about 2 weeks now...i finally got the kitchen vaccumed mopped counters clean and ALL the dishes done...
25 mins later dinners done and the sinks full and i just couldnt be mithered to do them too, and by that point, "ehh ll do the living room tomorrow..."

tomorrow (today came) i picked up and therw out all the bits of paper/trash thats been accumulating on the table...and cleared off the side table next to where i usually sit...
and yeah..now im here...

*hits head*
it doesnt help that i have very little desire to clean in general...
that little turns into absolutly none when i have to clean up after my boyfrined and his kid (whome i dont like as horrible as that sounds) yup, absolutly no desire to clean up other peoples junk..

lol, diz i know, infact most folks in the us have no idea what mithering is...

but weve always said mither instead of bother, so it works the same way...

Stop mithering me aka stop bothering me
cant be mithered aka cant be bothered lol
