Bottom line is that sterotypes are wrong, and the only way we can get rid of them is to make people aware of them! If you agree that predjeduces and sterotypes are wrong. Repost this, with the title that best fits your mold! And make others aware

I get the Im from the south and I like NASCAR so I must be white trash. That should be on there. I've seen too many people say that all NASCAR fans are white trash.

Also when I was in high school one of my friends mom's didnt want her to hang out with me. It was cuz I wore black so I must be on drugs. Her mom wouldnt even let her buy black eyeliner.

I get this one quite a lot. I personally am as broke as they come (student, no job) but my parents are pretty financially secure and I'm often judged by the size of their bank accounts... Because the daughter of "rich" people couldn't possibly be down-to-earth or respectful of others, right?

I get this above all others. I'm not a chatterbox and see little need to talk when I have nothing to say. People here do not value silence, and have to be talking constantly in order to enjoy one another's company. I'm not silent and uptight, I just prefer to listen to people than talk their ears off. I figure it pays to be a true listener in a world full of people who are really just waiting for their turn to talk, lol. But meh, before people know me well I apparently come off as aloof.

People ask me to talk normally and stop yelling, and I say but I AM talking normally, and then they say its a spanish people thing to be loud, another stereotype.

What I hate is the fact that when people find out I'm religious, they assume I'm some kind of jerk who hates anyone and everyone who isn't Christian. There are some religious people out there who are like that - of all religions - but I'm not one of them.

I hate being disrespected because I'm female. I'm sick of people assuming that because I'm small in size I'm somehow weak and that because I'm pretty it's alright to be rude to me. They don't think that after they've got a fist in their mouth.

I don't agree with being gay. To tell you the truth, I even think it's a bit gross. However, I don't think it's right to be rude to gay people. I think Ellen DeGeneres is hilarious. I don't agree with her decision to be gay, however, I think she's really funny, and if I were ever to meet her, I'd say hi and tell her how funny her show is.

Yup most guys I don't trust. I'm met too many @$$holes that unless they prove themselves otherwise, I don't see why I shouldn't give them the evil eye.

Oh I find it hilarious how some people think that since I don't walk around dressing like everyone else, caring only about my looks and boys, and being totally self-absorbed, that I'm some kind of freak who has no life.

I also find it hilarious that many people think that because I don't immediately run up to girls of my own age, who I don't know, and chatter, I must be depressed and I need company. I've got a book. I'm more interested in reading this book than talking to someone who feels the need to pity me because I like to read.
