I simply have to make myself stay away from Petfinder. I lose my heart every time. So many precious dogs, so few homes.

they're cuties alright. Since I adopted Shane, I too have to stay away from PetFinder, I get so upset, and want to bring them all home. Since I found my Shane (boxer) my friends are always asking me to find them a particular breed of dog, I have to remind them, that just because they're rescues doesn't mean they are free. It usually surprises them how much some of the adoption fees are. I mean I could have gotten a registered boxer from a byb (not that I would mind you) for what I paid in adoption fees. But that wasn't the point at all. I just have to not check any of the rescue groups.
