As sad as it is, I held a baby(2 weeks old) for the FIRST time in my life today. Almost 30 weeks pregnant adult, and I'd never held a baby before. Once I held her, I just melted, and quickly felt baby envy! Mine still has 10 more weeks to cook! So now I'm impatiently waiting!

I never held a baby before I got my two either (ok, not true, I held my 6 months old niece but she cried after 30 seconds). It's a bit scary when it's a newborn that can't hold the head yet, but honestly reading about baby care helped me a lot.
