The weather her in Oregon HAD been beautiful...sunny and warm for a few weeks, now it's cloudy and rainy. We need the rain so bad, so I'll try not to complain to much!! :D

i had to hang laundry up for 4 years while my children were growing up outside winters as well..Stephen King's Deloris with the clothes pins would go through my head every single time..finally a woman i know gave me a dryer..she has fibromyagia and couldn't do the bottom load anymore..i loved that dryer with my whole heart!!!!!

some stupid trivia about me........I adore sheets washed in bleach, then hung out on the line to sun dry............then I just smile when I crawl into bed, the total freshness of it all!!!!!!!!!!!!! Must be Heaven. :D (course, I have a strange love of all things bleached...I equate that to 'clean'...must be something from my childhood lol)

Sunshine???? I woke up to 5" of heavy wet snow. The trees looked beautiful but that's about it. I can't believe it's spring and I still have to shovel. Thankfully, it got warmer and helped melt some of it. Now I have mud outside the backdoor for the dogs to walk through. That's what I wanted to do today, clean muddy feet all day!

:D I had to trade an old minolta for my hp scanner..love my scanner but miss the zoom and the old minolta...sob..hic..it was a tough trade..but if i hadn't i wouldn't have any art to post. My fm2 Nikon is my best buddy..and if i ever learn to attach the lens i earned by helping Santa take doggy pics for two days..i will be even happier.Swear the zoom is a foot long and 4 inches wide! I hope to try it out at dog park this spring.
Supposedly three awards have been won using it.

I'd much rather be using the dryer, but it's clogged up or something and won't dry anything. I can't get to the back of it to disconnect the vent hose and check it, but I think the clog's in the dryer somewhere. Gonna have to borrow enough air hose to reach from the milk house where the big air compressor is to the laundry room and blow that bad boy out . . .

Smkie - I love my Nikon too. Which zoom lens do you have? The only largish one I've got so far is the 200 mm lens, which gets me pretty close to lots of things. I like the 35/50 that I got with the camera, but I ended up buying a Tamron 50mm with a deeper depth of field for some applications. The little mom 'n' pop photo shop where I get my processing also has a Wonderland of used cameras and equipment - lots of Nikons traded in by people who can afford to upgrade to newer ones. [sigh]
