There is a lady at work who has terminal liver cancer that has spread to her lungs and lymph nodes. She's been given a life expectancy of 6 to 8 months 
She has an 8 year old son who will be left without his mother and just thinking about it makes me wanna cry. He is her whole world as she is his. She took him to disney world a couple of weeks ago since she's still feeling somewhat okay. She wants to spend as much memorable moments with him as she can.
They took LOTS of pics during their vacation. She got home and was able to view them on her computer several times. She gave her cf card to another co worker to put the images on a cd for her. But somehow the images have been lost. There are a handful of some sort of files that can't be opened on the card and there's about 50 video clips she took of her son around the yard and around the house that are still on there and can be viewed.
I know there are programs out there that you can run that will retrieve images from a cf card. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and had any luck retrieving any of their photos.. and if so, what program did you use? I just have to get some of these pics back... they could truly be the last pics of a family vacation.
