Hello!
My 12 week old boxer-lab puppy has been scratching her belly and there is no sign of fleas but now she has little red bumps on her still bald belly and on her thigh, possibly elsewhere but not as far as i can see. She just got her first set of shots and de worming less than a month ago, can this have something to do with it? what can this be and does anyone have any advice on what I can try to treat this? please help someone :( this is my first puppy so I am a rookie here.

Hmm, Buddy had red bumpies and the vet called them "puppy acne." She gave him a cream that we had to put on him twice a day and it cleared up quick. I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but always better to ask the vet then take any chances! Good luck and keep us posted!

Could be puppy pyoderma. My ACD pup had it to and was itchy and red on his belly. They put him on cephalexin (antibiotic) for about two months or until it cleared up. Take the pup to the vet ASAP :)

Was Buddys "puppy acne" itchy too?

If I remember correctly I believe it was. Buuut, my memory isn't all that great unfortunately. Buddy has been through a lot so it's hard to remember his bumpies.

At first we thought maybe it was just irritation from grass or somethin, like an allergy? But because we're worried puppy parents we took him in. I forget the medical jargon for it, I just remember our vet coining it "puppyacne" ;)

My Aussie had that a couple of weeks ago and it scared the crap out me. Apparently it was hives or something from it being so hot and his belly staying wet. I gave him some Benadryl for a couple of days and it cleared right up.
