We've both been working insane hours for the last two weeks (as usual). Both of us are running on empty. Unfortunately, I'm also working this weekend and on Christmas day. It's only 4-5 hours a day, but it's still enough to put a kink in my time. It's especially annoying because we're having guests for Christmas dinner.
I was trying to figure out how to handle all that needs to be done. Our house is in sad shape thanks to our recent busy schedule, so I decided to take care of that first. Hubby is off today, so I asked him to wash our giant pile of dirty laundry while I was at work. When I came home, we could finish cleaning the house together.
I came home after working an *exhausting* straight 7-hour day to find....
HE CLEANED THE ENTIRE HOUSE FOR ME! :yikes:
And not just your typical cleaning. I'm talking the company cleaning. The deep clean you do when the mother-in-law is coming over.
All the laundry was done, everything dusted, couches and carpets vaccuumed, bedding changed, floors mopped and shined, trash thrown out, bathroom scrubbed, kitchen put in order....everything!
I was so happy that I literally started tearing up. He said I'd have enough to do just working and making Christmas dinner for everyone, so he decided to take care of everything else.
I absolutely love this man.
