If I can voice my opinion i was in my thread about Racism and people seem offended at my opinion. I want to know if i can voice my opinions or if i should just shut up. I dont mean to sound deffensive, but it did tick me the h*ll off.

I think it's about all ths stuff about abortion, religion etc... some things should just not be mentionned on a public forum, period. But it's just my opinion, I've just noticed it always ends up with people arguing and getting upset.

no, everyone does not have to agree with me. i am just trying to make a point and i guess people are ticked at me. (ok not everyone)

well, he belives in evolution. and i have nothing against him. but he seems to think that we "evolved" from fish and who knows what else. and i guess that statement about god created all men equall stirred something in him.

Don't take it personally! The problem when you start talking about that stuff is that there will always be someone who doesn't agree with you, or even worse, has an opinion you can't respect because it goes totally against what you believe. I can't respect racist people personally, does that make me intolerant? Maybe, but I think it's just human nature.

We have people coming from all kinds of backgrounds on the forums, and we're sure to disagree on lots of things, so why even talk about them when you know you will just open a can of worms. I'm not only talking about your post, but about the series we had two weeks ago.

But yeah, nobody listen to what I'm saying anyway, lol.

Feel free to voice your opinions. Just don't cry when somebody has a differnet opinion, and tells you in a way that "upsets you." Debate is a adult thing. So, unless you can take the heat, don't post controversial subjects. YOU are not the only person entitled to an opinion.

Freedom of speech is a two way street.

I'm with orion on this one. Everyone has the right to voice theiropinion, it's really something that should be encouraged so long as they do it fairly, however only voice it if you're prepared for others to disagree with you. Even become upset because you have differing opinions from them. It happens
