My favorite people are the people who get into actual arguments with me about what kind of dog I own. Wouldn't I know better than them???
I've had people call my Shibas everything from Corgis, to GSD mixes, to my personal favorites: foxes and wolves.
I used to think the fox one was weird (if you REALLY know what one looks like, they look almost nothing like Shibas), until the day I watched a FOX get it confused. I was out at my beach house, and my girl was inside, looking out the window. A gorgeous male fox hopped up on the deck, took one look at Kimi, and began to parade back and forth in front of her. He sniffed at the windows, and was alltogether, far more bold than I've ever seen one act. Kimi went ballistic the whole time, she was clearly not impressed!
On several walks out on the beach, we've had a few of them follow us as well! Perhaps trying to figure out what "those weird foxes" are doing on leashes?
