Ok, I am trying to find a harness for Chloe, but seeing as she is a complete weirdo, Im having trouble sizing her...

The ones that I have found that will fit her neck are way to small in the chest area, and the ones that fit the chest area, are way too big for her neck...

Should I just take the plunge and get a custom fitted one ?? or keep searching..

*sigh*

I haven't bought very many harnesses BUT have you found one that adjusts quite a bit?

The one I bought today, fits perfect for her neck and still have adjustable room, but the part that goes around her chest, is adjusted as far as it will go, and feels a little tight to me, I can fit 1 finger under the strap.. and its a large...

if I get an extra large, it will be too big, even if I adjust it as small as it will go...

My mom is having the same problem with finding a harness for her dachshund... she's too long and sausage-like!! :p

:lol-sign:

What type of harness are you looking for?
I would try an adjustable harness like a lupine or something... its hard because [I don't think] they tell how much it actually adjusts... I had to take Missy to a couple different pet store and try on several different types  I know that's probably not much help...

If I hadn't found one when I did I would've probably bought custom... I'm just lazy though... haha

Edit: Maddie's in between sizes too! So annoying! I ended up getting her a puppia imatation type harness. lol

No not techically, but I can tell you the size of the harness that I did get her..

its is SUPPOSED to go from 20" - 28" and I have it adjusted all the way out to 28" and its VERY snug on her...

I would try the Lupine if I was you. I have one for Izzy (and corgis aren't the easiest breed to fit harnesses) and I really like it. There are adjusters on either side of the neck, so you can make them pretty tight or pretty loose.
