I Have a Puppy! *Pictures*

A foster puppy! She's an 8-week-old Beagle X, possibly with Pug since she has a little nub tail, but I think she's mostly Beagle. Her name's Venture, and she's just so cute! She's doing incredibly well with housebreaking too, I think we have a puppy prodigy on our hands, lol.

That puppy is amazingly cute!! I don't see any pug at all though. And for the record, pugs don't have nub tails. They have curly tails that curl over their hip or back. Pug mixes generally have a little more of a mooshed face and a longer looser curl tail.

Well you're going to have to fight me for her , lol. I hadn't had a puppy around for more than a few hours since Mocha five years ago, and I had forgotten how adorably clumsy they are! She insists on exploring every single nook and cranny!

*Shrugs* Shows how much I know , the rescue's listed as a Beagle/Pug anyways. Her mom was in the high-kill shelter and she looked Beagle, but the shelter had no idea about the father. She's just adorable regardless, hehe, my little princess!

I have a question about fostering an 8wk old pup... Through a rescue? Do they have no shelter for the pup to stay? I was just wondering - because I know they're more quickly adopted when they're young like that. j/w

at one of my local shelters, puppies that are poorly socialized and/or have had little human contact are placed in foster homes until they are more sociable

That makes sense. Dunno of any shelters that would even think about that around here... rofl
I know of rescues {here} who have families train/foster puppies and they seem to "forget" about them... It seems they miss out on their 'highly adoptable stage' so I was just wondering
