I hate Fed Ex

I've been waiting for them to ship my new computer I just bought (iMac, yay!) I already missed them on Saturday because 1., they came really early... on a Saturday?! Why would they think ANYONE would be up early on a Saturday. And 2., I heard the doorbell but they didn't wait even 30 seconds before they gave up! That made me seriously mad. So then I had to wait until Monday. Yesterday I waited ALL DAY... then at about 5 I called them and they informed me they DON'T SHIP ON MONDAYS.... So I scheduled them to deliver it this morning. Guess what? 2:30 and STILL no package. I've called them a couple times and they've been rude (I was rude first, I'm just pissed) and told me it'll arrive before 4... like I have NOTHING better to do than sit VERY near my front door and wait for it, since they sure won't wait for me to get to the door if I'm not close to it. They told me to pre-sign for it and I won't have to wait, but like I'm going to leave a COMPUTER sit on my front porch all day just begging for someone to steal it.

I will NEVER use Fed Ex again if I have a choice. I didn't have a choice this time but.... I hate fed ex. They're stupid and slow.

Ugh - our FedEx guy does the same thing. He rings the bell and then I SWEAR he turns around and makes a mad dash for his truck. I know because I was sitting by the door one day and heard the truck pull up, so I got up to unlock the door... he rang the bell as I was unlocking it, and I opened the door... and saw him running for the truck.
WTF.

I've had that happen.. I've also had it happen that I've been sitting in my room over looking the front of the house seen the truck pull up start walking down the stairs and when I get there he's sprinting back to the truck. Walked TO my door but did not ring the door bell or knock.

H*ll.. why even bother.. And the Fedex depot is a few towns over in the middle of nowhere industrial area so if you 'miss' them you get to traipse to timbucktu to get your stuff anyhow...

Gotta laugh at that FedEx potty trauma comment there LadyMacBeth:rofl1: Sadly I can relate. hehe
It's a darn shame but I get much better service from any other company or individual than with FedEx. In Los Angeles I thought it was just a big city thing, but when I moved away? Well.... My Momma was also one of those "Moms" that said if you can't say anything nice then.... etc etc..
So I'll just say they seem "very tense"

God forbid they notice any dog droppings I might have missed in my yard. That would mean an hour drive into town for a delivery charge I already paid for. Yay!

At least I'm not the only one that's had bad luck with Fed Ex. Guess what? It's 4 and still no package. I called again and now they say it should be here before 8. That's just fantastic considering I have to be at work at 6, and I have to shower and get ready before then. If I don't get it today I AM traveling to their delivery center in timbuktu to get the darn thing tomorrow. I wish I would've done that today, would've saved my blood pressure going up.

yeah I don't deal with fedEx either. I haven't had any terrible experiences with them... but I haven't had any experiences that have made me think WOW that's good service either lol

Neither UPS or Fedex here will wait for me to get to the door. I can't even stand up from the couch or wherever and walk over and they are already gone every time. It's so annoying

Too bad I don't have time to hook it up before I have to go to work. But I have tomorrow off

On the other hand, UPS sucks for a whole list of different reasons

I've had the best luck with the USPS, weirdly. DHL hasn't been bad though.
