As part of our adventures in gardening/landscaping, Sis and I put in a garden that has a path going through it, and, being overly zealous, as well as a little tetched in the head, we thought, "Why not make some kind of mosiac in concrete path for a little more interest?"
Off we trotted to the semi-local hardware (Lowe's in the next town) and picked up a tucker tote full of broken tiles for a penny a tile (they were thrilled to get rid of the stuff and nice enough to throw in some contrasting colors).
So this is what we'll be putting in one section:
We picked up some red color to add to the concrete mix, so the light colors should stand out more. Still have another ten feet or so to fill in, we're gonna see if we can pull off some snow-capped mountains to place on either side of the dragon (the path splits into a Y and the dragon will be at the junction of the two branches).
Whatta ya think?
