Beanie you have never had a potato thingy? They take a whole potato and put it on one of those "spin around" type peeler/slicer things. They "shave it" right into a big pile and put that pile into a vat of hot grease and fry it for you, all while you watch.

The end result is like a "tree" or "flower" of fresh, hot, potato chips that you "pick" and eat! and they are GOOOOOOD! :D

Thanks shadow, you know I have never counted the stars/stripes on it to see if it was accurate! LOL..........now I have to! hahahahaha

We were talking about my mom's crocheted American flag blankie (that she made me years ago) and then Beanie ogled the potato flower that my boys were eating! LOL

They spin slice it into a pile, deep fry the whole pile, and it turns into a potato flower that you "pick" hot fresh chips off of to eat! VERY YUMMY!

Yep, and the Elkhart Co fair (I saw REO Speedwagon there about 8 years ago)

LOVE county fairs! BEST FOOD EVER!!
