(((Hugs))) As everyone has said, you did the best you could. It will be more information for the next potential adopters, and perhaps the key to finding his forever home.

It hurts I am sure, and anyone that would "come down" on you for this choice would be just plain silly, and not too bright. After all it is about the best choice for the dogs.

Sometimes adoptions just don't work out. Sometimes it's just not a good combo for the dog or other pets in the home. I know you did the best you could and, while you are worrying that we will come down on you, you are coming down on yourself for it. You needn't do that, it just wasn't the right mix and there is no shame in that.

I couldn't agree more with ToscasMom.

I can't imagine what you're going through right now. If Banzai had not worked out here, it would have ripped me apart.

I think that you need to step back from the situation and realize that you did what you could with what you had.

You tried. That's a lot more than what someone else would have probably done.
