That sucks..Especially when others start talking about food you would love to eat right now! Or someone ticks ya off enough and ya cant comment! LOL
Take it easy Dobi! this too shall pass!
I just had a bunch of work done...my freezing lasts about 6 hours, but everybody is different. You really shouldn't eat while you're still frozen, you could end up chomping on your cheek or lip without know, and really hurt yourself.
Yeah and I really love when they tell you to rinse after they are done to get rid of the dust and whatnot. It just squirts out of your mouth.
I think they do it cuz they want a laugh on the job.
Of all the numbing, I hate the tongue and the lips !!! Luckily as you get older, the nerves die, so now I don't need the shots.... would rather bite the bullet for a minute or so. Usually though, feeling comes back within 2 hours.
ahhh I know how you feel! exept I went to my culinary art class right after! (Last year I did normal school and I went to a tech school) It was so hard cuz u have to taste test your food and my tongue, lips and cheek were frozen and I couldnt seem to keep it in! I ended up settling for a soda with a straw! The worst part was the bus ride back to high school ! All my friends were like aww you look cute with half your mouth frozen! ahhh look at the funny face she makes when shes mad! I could not move half my mouth even to talk. Its best to stay home when your mouths frozen!
Usually the numbing wears off in under an hour for me, which is nice (so long as the work isn't still being done). A few summers ago I had to have some extensive work done, so they used a heavy duty numbing agent and I walked out of there looking like a cross between a stroke victim and a botox accident. It was like 7 or 8 hours before that stuff wore off and my face HURT when it did. My wonderful friends all thought it was hilarious and kept trying to make me laugh so they could see me go "Haha OWOWOW ahaha OWWWW I hate you guys!"
