Tonight I am eating my dinner on the coffee table in front of the Tv watching Seinfeld. The dinner was a broiled lamb chop, whole wheat pasta and steamed pole beans... Lamb is Smokey's favorite. All of a sudden Smokey starts barking like crazy and I look out the window and this teenager with this weird dog of his is trying to sic his dog on his neighbors cat. Well I run out the door and go over to this little creep and tell him to knock it off. A few other people came out of their Condos and told him off too, at which point he beat a hasty retreat back to his home.
Now I am about 3/4 block from my house and I think... the half eaten lamb chop on my plate on the coffee table....:yikes: What am I going to see when I walk back into the house, the plate on the floor, lamb chop gone, bone gone, etc...etc..........
I quickly walk in the door, and there is everything just as I left it and Smokey is looking at me like , " What happened out there?"............. She never touched the plate at all even though it was nose high.
I took the rest of my lamb chop and cut it up and put it in her plate. she ate it in about 3 seconds... She certainly deserved it and more....
