I am such a proud mommy.

Hannah... all on her own... decided she wanted to provide a child with Christmas this year. All I did was donate an item at the dollar tree and Hannah had a lot of questions about what that was for and how we find children in need. I knew of a place where we could sponsor a child and she said that's what she wanted to do this year.

I had to laugh because when dad came home she ran up and said "Dad... I need some of your money" :rofl1: we told her that if she really wanted to be the one to sponsor a child that she should try to earn the money.

so she made and painted ornaments. I helped her with the oven stuff and rolling out the dough but otherwise she did it all herself... Oh and I sprayed on the gloss finish for the ornaments and tied the ribbon to hang them lol other than that she did it all herself and sold them.

She earned enough to buy all of this

We are mailing it out tomorrow and she is so excited.

We are so blessed with her and that she has such a heart for God and for ministry. She is 6 and through out the whole thing she NEVER said "I want this.. what about me... I want I want I want" Everything was "ooh my sponsor might like this".

I'm just... speechless and moved to tears that she did this with minimal help from us. I love her so much and God is using her to teach us so much

This post brought tears to my eyes. Ya'll are raising that girl right! Very sweet, there are so many ungrateful children in this world, does my heart good to see such thoughtfulness.

Wow ... If I could garantee that I would have a kid like her I would start trying tomorrow xD ... But I can't :.. So I don't.

It irks the crap out Of me to hear kids going "me me me!" And "mine mine mine!!!" ESP around this time.

This just made me smile. :) So many lessons can be learned from children like Hannah. You have the right to be proud.

Great job, Hannah! I'm all teared up just reading about what a wonderful thing you did. I can just imagine how proud Mom & Dad are of you.
