Hello! I am new to this forum and I own a German Shepherd Dog who is almost 6 months old. I am so lucky to own him because he has a great personality and he is training to be a search and rescue dog through a dog registry I am working at. :]

I am a member of another dog forum but it is basically a dog training one.

I think the training you are doing is great! I have a 3 1/2 month old chocolate lab who will eventually be certified as a therapy dog. I also own a 10 year old German Shepard. Her name is Jeri Leigh after the movie "K-9" She is an absolute doll and has actually got more gentle the older she has become

Thanks for all the replies! Haha, I said to my friend the other day, "Your dog is so cute! My dog is just handsome." He is quite the ladies man already. :] His name is Rucqus..like Ruckus.

He's so nice and calm for adog that is almost 6 months old. I am so glad I got him and he was FREE. I lucked out, big time.
