Anyway, you all ready for this? I have two hikes worth of pictures to share. We took 5 (yes, FIVE!) dogs for an off-leash hike yesterday as a birthday hike for Simi, since my little girlie turned A YEAR OLD on the 22nd! Then we did another hike today, just Psyche, Simi and Pip to work on Simi coming back and checking in with me, since she's very "screw you!" about 99.9% of the time that she's ever off leash.

Hike 1:

Psyche found something good and rank to roll in.

Crashee and the Simi were best-ignoring-mom-buds.

A failed attempt at a group shot. Pip has an amazing recall (even off of 4 other dogs who are all running away from us) but has a horrible sit stay.

Hike 2:

Simi was a lot better behaved this time around! I think not having Crash as an evil companion helped.

Pip is handler OBSESSED. She loves mom SO much.

Thank you, everyone! I am so pleased with how Simi is maturing physically and mentally both, though the mentally part is a lot slower. Haha!

As for my photography, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I was rather pleased with some of these shots. My camera skills are a little rusty. I've gone from taking pictures everyday at school last year (for my photography program) to rarely these days, so felt nice to go out and stretch my legs, so to speak.
