I've heard that this region is as far north as you can grow fruit trees which is what they love

Only bug here that bothers me are the mousqutos, how ever its spelled, they can be bad **** bloodsuckers.

Do you burn those smoke fires that help keep them away? We used to do that for our horses and my sis's horse loved it and would hang his head over it and be bug free. I can't remember what they are called

Citronella? We do burn smoky fires while out camping to keep the bugs down. Im gonna get a bunch a bird feeders to keep birds around to eat the bugs.

not citronella - but those are nice too. I think the fire has a special name. Smokey fires. I love camping. Especially near a lake so Mav and I can swim. Steve won't go in the cold water
