Huskies do tend to wander and most are not to be trusted off leash. There are Huskies that can be trusted though but those are really well trained ones and it also depends on the personality. My Husky Mishka has never wandered she is more of a velcro and people kind of dog. Not just with me because she lives with my uncle for now and he said she never goes off their property. But most huskies no you can't trust them.
from what i know is that most will dart and wont come back mine is only three months old if i let go of her leash she has the 16 foot flexi lead on which she has darted out of the yard into the neighbors twice but as soon as i call her she comes back but you should generally probably have a fenced in yard or kennel for them while they are out side during the day.
