Do you refer to yourself when you're speaking to your dogs?

I always say "Mommy" or "Mama". I really have NO clue why.

I don't know. Not generally "mom" or anything like that... because I'm not a mom. My mom is mom (to us kids and the dogs), haha. I don't really refer to myself as anything to my dogs I don't think. "Owner" sounds too formal. I'm just their person I guess, LOL.

I think I generally refer to myself as "me" though "mama" has come out a few times. I guess it kind of depends on the situation.

To Rosey I am Jess My parents are Mommy and Daddy, because that is what we used while growing up.

My parents call my Mommy or Your Old Lady to the ferrets.

...so I guess I'm a mom anyway.

I don't refer to myself as "mama" with my dog but I do call my mother "Gram", and Eve gets very excited when I ask her if she wants to go see Gram. Eve's Gram also calls me Eve's mother, if she's doing something bad she says "I'm gonna tell your mooooom, Eve..."
