How would your dog react to this?

To be honest, I don't know how mine would react. They're all fine with each other stealing their things, but they've never had a strange dog or a dog that doesn't live with them steal things.
My guess is that Ripley would probably be totally fine with it. He lets other dogs take from him all the time with zero issues, and then just looks at me all sad. Keira would likely be fine with it as well, though she'd look really peeved. It takes a bit to really frustrate Keira to the point of upsetting her. And Dance would probably snark at the other dog. Dogs do not steal from Dance unless it's an item she doesn't really care about that much.

Juno would not care. At the dog park, she is always getting toys yanked out of her mouth. Or at home, Lucy doesn't usually *take* things from Juno, but she does get all up in her business if she's chewing on something. Juno just carries on and finds something else to do. She's never gotten possessive over anything, towards dogs or people.
I don't know how Lucy would react to a strange dog. She growls if Juno comes anywhere near her while she is chewing on something. But that is the extent of it - she growls, Juno sometimes ignores it and takes the chew from her anyway, and that's it. No fighting or biting. But I'm not sure if a strange, random dog would tick her off more.

I have two major RGers. If it was a really high value bone, the other dog would not be so lucky. Smalls would tell them off and if they surrendered the bone there would be no further issues. Shambles would likely fight. Jonas wouldn't let them get near it. The minute the dog was coming he'd snatch it and run. Jack and Magpie don't have a care in the world.
Bear would not be ok with another male in his yard. A female, I don't know, could go either way. Pig steals things from him all the time and the most he'll do is get a little grumbly before handing whatever he has over. Sometimes he'll use his big head to cover the toy/bone so she can't get it. Pig is a persistent little thing though and will usually dig at his side until he relents or I call her off. I'm not sure that he would let a strange dog steal from him though. He would probably give a female a warning growl and if she persisted, maybe an air snap. A male would not be permitted to even enter the yard without Bear starting a fight.

Teagan would growl at them if the dog did not back away she would attack their face.
There has been people who are walking their dogs by my place and their dog wanders into my yard. Teagan pretty much does a Ninja scream and goes running at the dog with her tail straight in the air, luckly all of the dogs have submitted to her ninja-ness.

Missy would have a freak-out. Jack would want to go say hello and play. (as long as the dog was acting friendly/non-threatening)

Well, Missy wouldn't let the dog close enough in the first place, and Jack would growl/snap at them.

Hmmm...all just depends, I suppose.
Rose, in her younger years, would have attacked with no questions asked. She and Blackie did NOT tolerate any strange dog on their turf at all and they would back that up with their teeth. Now in her older age (and that she is a lot more used to use bringing home fosters), she would probably just posture and bark, but not attack - if the dog was being submissive/nonthreatening.

Dally, oddly enough would probably be fine with it. Off property she is very high anxiety which she redirects onto other dogs. At home, she's fine with any dog we accept onto the property. A couple weeks ago the neighbour's lab came over and they played for hours.

I would not want to be a stray dog that somehow made it into this yard.
But, that's why the fencing is so secure - to keep my pack in, and non-pack OUT!
Now, among the pack... There are push overs who let their bones/toys/etc. be stolen, and then there are a few who command a 3-4' radius around them when they're in possession of something lol

Ozzy would prob growl/snap. The dog being on the property wouldnt noted him but the bone would.
Taz, Fudge and Diesel would leave their bones to go investigate the new dog and probably not care if it stole their bone if it was a bitch.

It all depends on which dog it was. If it were just a strange dog coming into our yard, all three of my girls would be fine given it was a male dog. If it were a female Mina would be looking for blood.
Now as for stealing the bone, Mina would eat the other dogs face. Upendi would let them have it and then look sad while trying to figure out how to get it back. Cara would snark, but back down I think.

Blaze is a push over. and wouldnt care at all. he probably would drop the bone before the dog approched and walk away from it. he is the least confrontational dog lol.
Solo can be a resource guarder with dogs. so he is watched carefully. He wouldnt give it up easily, if at all with out a fight.
I have to be very carefull with him at dog parks with people who bring toys. as he will steal a dogs toy and growl at them if those dogs try to get it back

Mu - She'd eat the dog's face most likely, partly for being in her yard and partly over her bone.
Tipper - She'd give it up lol. She gave Zoom's Sawyer her tennis ball last weekend and acted like he was trying to kill her every time he barked. She capitulates to everyone but Mu for some reason. Dork dog.
Murphy - That dog wouldn't be anywhere near his bone. Bones are super high value for him. I don't think he'd hurt anyone but other dogs are not allowed near his stuff.
